Full disclosure.....I like crap movies. I grew up in the 70's and 80's where crap movies ruled, and believe me I have seen some crap movies. So many in fact that I do like watching cheesy crap movies now and again. Sometimes though, a movie is so crap it just isn't fun and it's a chore to watch. The Happy Time Murders is one such film. The Happy Time Murders is the story of Phil Phillips. A disgraced ex-cop turned private eye who is hired to find out who is blackmailing Sandra. Oh and Phil just so happens to be a puppet. In a world where puppets are real and treated like second class citizens, Phil ends up getting more than he bargained for when his case turns into a murder investigation where the cast of an old 90's sitcom (including Phil's brother) start getting picked off one by one. Teaming up with his ex partner Phil tries to figure out who is killing the cast and clear his name. And that is the synopsis of the trainwreck that is The Happy Time
